"Is the Bolshoi or the Kirov (schools and companies) better in Russia? Or are they different?" I am sorry I didn’t mean to be rude, I just don’t know very much. (I mean, are the styles the same?)

The Russian level in my opinion is definitely the best… still and I feel that they have a very professional approach to training and building dancers. The structure and repertoire is lacking in the west. Tradition and a well educated art loving audience keeps Ballet a staple here. The steady demand for stars and high level productions keep companies on the lookout for homegrown stars. Bolshoi and Mariinsky have different styles but the Vagonova methods the official method used in the training
